Offshore

Anadarko and Ecopetrol’s Gorgon-1, Purple Angel-1 and Kronos-1 wells discovered a very large gas field trend across 3 blocks offshore in the Caribbean Sea. This is part of a shallow and deep water gas province only drilled in the last few years. Petrobras’ Orca-1 well was the first gas discovered in the Tayrona Block in 2014. Other operators such as Repsol and ExxonMobil are exploring neighbouring blocks.
